Good Saturday

Saturday started early for us. We woke up early to drive to the temple to meet up with my mom, Heather and Matt, and the entire Berger clan-Kathy and Keith, Rebekah and Phillip Jarvis, Beth Galbraith, Travis and Valerie, Adam, Jared Burgoon, and Alex and Erin. Keith has recently become a sealer and Kathy thought it would be a great idea to take a Saturday and do lots of work. It was wonderful. We spent over 2 hours doing work for large families. The feeling was incredible. It was so fantastic to spend that kind of time with family and friends. And it was so great to do all that work for all those families. It was just a incredible morning. It made me feel so grateful for the blessing that I have in my life. For this gospel in my life. I was really overwhelmed with joy the entire day. I am so grateful for my family and for the Bergers (practically family), and especially my husband-I love them all so much. Greg is such a good man, he is a good husband and will be the best father. It is such a good feeling to do work for those that can't do it for themselves, especially when you can truly feel that they want it so badly and have been waiting for that moment. And it was so great to see the temple buzzing with people, that makes me happy.
After the temple, we all headed to Panera for lunch. We parted ways at that point. Greg and I headed to Chipotle (he didn't want a sandwich from Panera so we had to go get him a burrito). We walked around the Florida mall for just a bit and headed down to Cocoa Beach to get ready for a wedding. Unfortunately, Greg forgot that keys to the condo and we had to break in to get dressed. Ssshhh, don't tel anyone. It was our place, so we figured we could. We headed down to Melbourne for Shoady and Juan's wedding and reception.
Shoady and I became friends shortly after I got home from college. She is an amazing person. We have had so much fun together over the years. Even if it has been months since we have spoken, we can pick up the phone and just pick up where we left off. She is a great friend and I love her so much. So she married the wonderful Juan, who is just the perfect fit for her. He is a great guy. We were so happy to share in their day together and wish them all the happiness. We love you guys!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience at the temple. I loved reading it and it made me very eager to go! I am so glad to hear your testimony and the love you have for the gospel and for the YW in your ward too! I am also so excited for you guys and your baby! When is your due date? It is so scary and exciting hearing that first heartbeat! I'm sure you have plenty of books by now, but my fav was "The Prgnancy Bible" I loved it! If your at the bookstore breeze through it, there are 3D and 4D images for every week!
