I hit my 2o week mark this week (I can't believe I am half way there already) and it was time for our ultrasound. We did have one four weeks before, but our tiny baby was a little on the modest side and wasn't giving too much away, although the tech thought we might be having a boy, we still weren't 100% sure. We were very excited to see our baby again and I just hoped that our he/she was healthy and growing. Greg's parents were in town and my mom drove over for the appointment, so they could meet their new grandchild. We all packed into the tiny room waiting in anticipation. The first shot we got was the money shot, there is no doubt we are having a boy! There was our baby, in all his glory, showing his stuff off for the audience that had gathered around the little monitor. No longer the shy baby we saw just 4 weeks ago. I blame it on the apple juice I downed right before my appointment to get him dancing-he was a little sugared up! Or maybe he knew he had an audience and wanted to shake it for everyone! He was squirming during the entire ultrasound. But we got lots of good shots and our wonderful tech was nice enough to print them all off for us. So here he is...little Lochlan Paxton (for those who don't know, Greg served his mission in Scotland and we picked out a very Scottish name for our first son a few years back...we are still negotiating on the middle name).

Wow, I can't believe you're half way there already! It seems like just yesterday we found out you guys were expecting! Congrats on a little boy, that is so so exciting! When do we get to see prego pics of you!? I'm sure you look awesome!
Stephanie, his little profile is priceless. Isn't it all unbelievable? What a blessed little boy to come to such an excited family!
It's a real boy! Glad we didn't pass up the lobster shirt! Love the pictures.
I am so happy for you and Greg (and Sting'em getting a brother;). I look forward to having playdates with Britton and Lochlan.
I love the "money" shot of Lochlan! Mattie had a similar one! He is looking great, and we can't wait to meet him in person this December. We'll let you know Firday if he is going to be the older cousin to Reddin or Venna!
what a cute nephew we'll have! That profile was really great, and I love the shot of his little foot! Congratulations again!
Congrats! Great name too! :)
That is about how Nate's ultrasound was. I had told him that he had to show me what he was, then he could be modest when he came out...he hates clothes, go figure! Congrats! I am so excited for you!
Bailey is okay he did get better, and by the way congrats!
Steph-

Oh, boys are so much fun. Congratulations Stephanie, those pictures are sooo cute. I love little baby feet.
They got such a great profile shot! I framed Rylan's! It's on his dresser. Congratulations! Boys are SO much fun and no offense Greg, but they LOVE their mommies SOOOOOOO much! Not that girls don't(hope I don't offend anyone saying that) It's just b/c I have a boy, and it's awesome...that's all! :)
I am so happy for you and Greg. I am sure Greg is can't wait so he can play all sorts of sports with him. The name is very much Scottish. Matt & I went to Edinburgh last week. Is supposed to be summer but it was raining and 50 degrees. I will post some pictures for you guys.
I thought it was so weird that my widget said 19weeks, and everyone who I know has one says the same thing!!!! It must have automatically put everyones at 19 weeks.
It only gets better from here! Good luck with the trucks, dirt, worms, motorcycles, and all the boy stuff. It is REALLY fun. We are so happy for you!
